Live Sound Engineering

Experience
I have been working in live production and sound since 2016, starting in theater. Since then, I have worked at several venues around St. Louis and 3 production companies, spanning St. Louis and Chicago, and a church. I have planned and put on a few pop-up events with friends which included securing and running rag-tag systems.

Venues of note that I have gotten my hands on are the City Winery, National Blues Museum, The Duck Room at Blueberry Hill, and The Connection United Methodist Church.

Audio has been my focus since my start, but I have lots of experience setting video and lighting rigs for live productions, mostly corporate events, since working with Sound Works Productions (now Vantage Productions) and Ironman Sound Industries, which I am currently working with full-time.

I am Dante levels 1 and 2 certified, experienced with M32 and X32 consoles, and Q, C, and D series Yamaha consoles, as well as the PM7 Rivage. I have some experience with a DigiCo Quantum 338 Pulse, and am itching to get my hands back on it. I am proficient in running monitors and FOH, hanging line arrays, frequency coordination, hanging lighting fixtures and projectors, programming amplifiers, and erecting video walls, stages, and decor.

Build and Repair
I really enjoy building cable, soldering, building custom panels and racks, and putting circuit boards together. I love the intricacies of building electronics and their maintenance. I have experience in updating amplifier software and cleaning amps, fixing mic stands and replacing parts missing from gear that's been out on the road. It's so satisfying to have something I make work and to see it in use.
