I have been experimenting with making noise art for the past couple of years, using "found" recordings. Taking noise out of context and reworking it to express something almost musical has been really fun and really opened up what I can do with a DAW, my audio knowledge, and art.

I have made these with ProTools previously, but a few have been completed in Adobe Audition and Ableton Live. Limiting my access to advanced tools makes me focus on the composition and texture.

Who's Asking?
STL DIY Basement Post-Punk with Aurora Behlke (vocals, accordion) , Ridge Bickel (drums), Blake Mickens (vocals, guitar), Jo Phillips (vocals, auxiliary percussion), and Scooter Armstrong (bass). Debut EP "You Probably Haven't Heard of It" released on January 31st, 2025, recorded and mixed by the band! Streaming everywhere or buy a CD at any of our shows and support independent music!
